      About the Opportunity:
      We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Accounting Manager to join our accounting team.
      Primary Role and Responsibilities:
      • Supervise and manage accounting operations: Focus on revenue, accounts receivable, and related expenses.
      • Ensure compliance with US GAAP: Stay informed on regulatory changes and ensure all financial activities are compliant.
      • Monitor and design financial controls: Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and implement new ones as needed.
      • Analyze financial performance: Collect, interpret, and analyze financial data for the company and its subsidiaries.
      • Support accounting close processes: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
      • Collaborate with operations and GL team: Provide guidance and insights on financial reporting.
      • Perform variance analysis: Understand trends in revenue, accounts receivable, and bad debt allowance, and provide insightful conclusions.
      • Design process improvements: Enhance efficiencies while considering internal controls.
      • Collaborate on revenue recognition: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and communicate potential changes in revenue recognition.
      • Understand new payment methodologies: Learn about new payments (e.g., grants, state payment methodologies) to conclude on revenue recognition.
      • Lead and support ad-hoc projects: Take charge of or assist with various projects as needed.
      • Assist with audits and financial reporting: Support audit processes and related deliverables.
      • Foster a collaborative environment: Provide strategic guidance and develop strategies to ensure team success.
      Qualifications:
      • Degree in Accounting or Finance: Required.
      • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
      • Customer service-oriented: Must be independently curious, collaborative, and self-motivated.
      • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
      • Experience with period-end analysis and close activities: Provide leadership with timely and reliable financial information.
      • Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze, explain, and conclude on financial trends.
      • Experience with Workday ERP or OneStream: Preferred.
      • Experience in skilled nursing healthcare: Preferred.

      Additional Information
      The Anticipated Base Salary Range: $125,000-$150,000; may be eligible for bonus
      Position Type: Full Time, Employee
