      Position Description:

      The Accounting Manager will be responsible for oversight and management of the company’s account reconciliations, Accounts Receivable function and the month end process. The Accounting Manager will support the Controller and Assistant Controller and work directly with the CFO, senior and middle managers.

      Responsibilities:
      • With the Controller and Assistant Controller, complete the monthly close process for each business unit, with consolidated financial reporting by the 20th of each month using GAAP accounting principles and high accuracy. Perform account reconciliations and trouble shoot issues.
      • Process non-recurring general ledger transactions and process recurring transactions covering revenue, expense and balance sheet accounts
      • Provide and perform account reconciliations across the balance sheet
      • Manage the Cash and Accounts Payable Functions
      • Manage and lead the Staff GL Accountant
      • Manage the collections team and process, including the 3 collections specialists, to ensure effective and efficient collection of outstanding debts
      • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer service and finance teams to address customer issues impacting collections
      • Communicate with clients to resolve payment discrepancies and negotiate payment plans when necessary

      • You enjoy working on a small team where collaboration is critical to success.


      Qualifications:
      • Roughly 5 years of experience including both public accounting and industry work. CPA preferred.
      • Aptitude to lead the accounting function, with experience managing a small team a bonus.
      • Experience in collections management or a similar role.
      • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work in financial ERP systems.
      • Comfortable with MS Excel.
      · NetSuite experience desired
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with a 4-year college or equivalent.


      Compensation:
      • Annual base salary range between $95-110k
      • Bonus potential up to 15%
