      DENSO is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager. This person will provide oversight to our NA Thermal Accounting Team at our Battle Creek, MI plant.

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Prepares monthly financial statements (e.g. Compliance GAAP&IFRS, Governance, Quality) and presents to management with analysis.
      • Develops strategic concepts and modeling of new business programs, obtain executives approval and implements with Sales and Product Management.
      • Develops short-term and long-term business plans to align with company goals and objectives.
      • Assists associates in developing individual G&Os and provides coaching, support and assessment to talent.
      • Oversees reporting (e.g. internal and external, management cycle, and deadline management).
      • Completes complex problem resolution.
      • Collaborates with other key departments (Purchasing, Business Planning, Production Control, Production Engineering, Sales & Marketing, and Engineering).
      • Leads region-wide standardization, automation, system utilization and efficiency improvement.
      • Performs Periodic internal reporting, issue escalation, countermeasure development, execution and follow-up.
      • Governance and internal control compliance responsibility.
      • Leads all audits, both external and internal.
      • Ensures compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
      • Directs and oversees Accounts Receivable and Credit Management.
      • Performs other duties as assigned.

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
      • 12+ years of progressively more responsible financial experience and demonstrated leadership ability.
      • CPA is strongly preferred.

      Salary:

      • $145,000 - $177,000
