      Job Summary:

      This position is responsible for performing a variety of finance and budgeting functions and/or transactions for AZ Highways Magazine and Grand Canyon State Logo Signs.


      This position may be available for remote work within Arizona (3 days per week in the office/hoteling).

      Job Duties:

      Handling full cycle of accounts payable/accounts receivable activities including auditing and verifying accuracy.

      Examines and verifies fiscal transactions such as billing invoices, accounts receivable/ accounts payable, or other financial documents.

      Review and reconcile billing records and accounts.

      Perform general administrative duties including filing, mail distribution and record retention.

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

      Knowledge of:

      Principles, methods and practices of fiscal and financial record keeping, including automated accounts payable/receivable and payroll systems

      Automated Accounting System

      Data processing techniques as it applies to accounting practices

      Microsoft Excel, and general databases. Knowledge of Google Workspace

      Skills in:

      Maintain ledgers and journals

      Analyze fiscal data

      Interpret financial data

      Critical thinking

      Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the

      Ability to:

      Multi-task, prioritize and deliver results

      Communicate effectively both orally and in writing

      Work with others/interpersonal relationships

      Professionally communicate with others at various levels within the division

      Selective Preference(s):

      One year level accounting experience plus Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.

      Pre-Employment Requirements:

      Valid state driver's license with an acceptable 39 month driving history.
