- Prepare and post daily journal entries, receipts, disbursements; including update to download and direct bill transactions in Epic
- Assist with month-end close process: reclasses, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, A/R management, and supplemental schedules for all profit centers
- Process full-cycle payroll in ADP for 110+ employees and assist with reporting to internal parties
- Assist with financial statement reporting with high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Treasury management for all banking relationships
- Prepare, reconcile, and post monthly corporate credit card expenses
- Prepare, reconcile, and post weekly expense reimbursements
- Bank reconciliations
- Assist with audit and tax requests
- Completes all other projects or requests as assigned by Senior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Accounting experience (insurance experience is a plus)
- Proactive participation in continuing education classes
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and Outlook applications

- Pay Range: $50,000 - $70,000 (dependent on experience and/or qualifications)
- Bonus Potential: 5% of annual salary
- Total Compensation = Pay + Performance Bonus + Benefits
JOB TITLE: Accounting Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist position is responsible for analyzing and providing financial data for the corporate entity to internal parties. Ensuring that the corporate entity is following policies and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, tablets, phones, and multi-function printers.
