Job Description
- Req#: 54182
- High volume data entry
- Investigate cash variances
- Work with operations to solve any discrepancies
- Log mail pay for processing
- Remit reoccurring tax payments and filings
- Complete daily audit of gaming reports
- Log and submit all reporting variances
- Respond to internal/external inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
- Additional duties as assigned by the accounting department and managers as required
- Prepared to cover for and support colleagues when required
- 0-3 years of gaming accounting experience
- Accounting or related degree a plus
- Understands finance and has experience working in an accounting function
- Experience with office work, preferably in a sports betting company
- Diligent and with an eye for detail
- STRONG Excel skills, macro knowledge a plus
- Working knowledge of Oracle accounting software a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Accuracy a must
- Ability to demonstrate initiative
- Enjoy providing a service
- Keen to expand their expertise
- Works well with people at all levels
- Must be able to sit for extended periods
- Must be able to type and talk on the phone for extended periods
- Regular attendance in the office
JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Specialist is responsible for supporting Caesars Sportsbook in the daily reconciliation of system reporting including regulatory assignments including mail pay and tax filings.
