- Considerable knowledge of accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices.
- Knowledge of accounting and other software.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and apply the laws and regulations pertaining to financial records.
- Ability to use posting, calculating, or adding machine in recording financial data or making computations.
- Ability to prepare standard financial statements and reports.
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. Temporary employees who work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $18.48 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application). This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Commerce. This position is located at 700 Wade Ave., Raleigh, NC 27605.
This position will be responsible for the following areas: 1) Cash Management 2) FBUIAS which verifies daily revenue 3) Federal & State Taxes submits all the tax withholdings to both the NC Dept of Revenue (NCDOR) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and 4) Federal / State Reporting and Compliance Complete various reports related to the UI Trust Fund.NOTE: Qualified applicants must meet and CLEARLY reflect on their application training and experience and all knowledge, skills, abilities, and any experience or competencies specified in the posting and/or supplemental question(s) to be considered.
