      Job summary

      Supporting the provision of sound Financial Management services to meet this aspect of the Health Board's financial duties. Analysing and reporting upon income and expenditure to budget holders and senior finance staff. Contributing to the production of monthly financial reports, monitoring returns, annual accounts and budget setting.

      Main duties of the job

      An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled individual to join the Management Accounting Team. This post provides direct support to the Senior Accounts Assistants andwill also support the Business Partnering teams to provide strong, strategic, high quality financial management information, business support and customer focused financial support for the Health Board's divisions.

      You will be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills who pays high attention to detail and have the ability to become familiar with new information quickly.

      Candidates would ideally be studying towards AAT or CCAB/CIMA qualification or have significant relevant experience.

      Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. We do this in partnership with our three local authorities and public, private and third sector colleagues, including our volunteers, through:
