      About this role

      We are recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Burnaby Head office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.

      Your responsibilities

      • Accurately process vendor invoices and employee expense reports ensuring deadlines are met
      • Enter detailed invoice and expense data in systems
      • Process employee expense reports, ensuring that proper approvals are obtained
      • Manage vendor statement reconciliations and follow-up on discrepancies
      • Work with teams across the organization to resolve invoice and expense questions
      • Support team in performing timely month-end closing tasks to meet deadlines
      • Prepare invoices and expense reports for weekly payments
      • Respond to customers, vendors, and other employee inquiries in a timely manner
      • Discern priorities of emails and invoices with vendors and employees
      • Maintain organization of accounts payable documents and files

      Your experience and skills

      • High School Diploma
      • 1-2 years of accounts payable experience
      • Understanding of basic accounting principles
      • Previous experience working in a high volume, fast-paced accounting department
      • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook
      • Proficient with computer-based accounting programs
      • Experience with JDE, an asset
      • Able to handle confidential information and work under pressure to meet deadlines
      • Detail-oriented, strong communication skills and customer service driven
      • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work as a team

      Salary range: $48,000 - $55,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will be commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. Let's chat throughout the hiring process and determine the best fit.
