- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the AP team, including:
- Create and maintain vendor records
- Assist with account reconciliations as needed
- Identify and investigate discrepancies
- Aid in the review of system exceptions (Nexus and Engie)
- Facilitate annual 1099 vendor tax reporting
- Contribute to internal and external audit requests
- Cross train with AP team to provide additional backup support to team members
- Generate regular reports on AP activities and assist in preparing department reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments within the organization to facilitate the AP process and resolve any inter-departmental issues.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
- Associate’s degree or some college coursework completed required, Bachelor’s degree in business related discipline preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required; JD Edwards, Yardi, Nexus Systems, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Ascent preferred
- Prior clerical accounting experience in property management operations or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in accounts payable or a related financial role.
- Internal or external customer service experience required
- Basic math and analytical skills
- Ability to research issues and determine a possible solution
- Knowledge of accounts payables processes preferred
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer focus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

About this Opportunity:

We are seeking a Accounts Payable Associate to join our corporate office located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely. The Accounts Payable (AP) Associate will provide administrative support to the AP team. Cross train with the AP team to provide additional backup support. Generate regular reports on AP activities and assist with preparing department reporting. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to facilitate the AP process and resolve any inter-departmental issues. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Sr. Manager Accounting Systems & Payables or senior management.What You’ll Be Doing:
