We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our accounting team. The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a critical role in ensuring that our company's financial transactions are accurately processed and that our vendors are paid on time. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about finance and wants to contribute to the success of our organization.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and other financial documents
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts, ensuring proper authorization
• Prepare and process electronic payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues
• Maintain organized and up-to-date accounts payable files and records
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to address payment inquiries and resolve payment-related issues
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to accounts payable
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations
• Assist with other accounting and finance tasks as needed
