      The MX COE A/P Specialist reports directly to the MX-COE-AP-LEADER, should have the enough knowledge of accounts payable process, fill vendor master concepts, review information, save information for future audits, Knowledge of MX legacy and the criteria to understand cash management concepts.

      Your Role & Responsibilities:

      • Knowledge about payment cycle activities ( consignment, three-way-match, credit notes, payment run) and vendor master.
      • Create, modify, extend, block employees, vendors and banks in SAP system.
      • Understand concepts like: Bank Key, Bank account, AK, CLABE, SWIFT, ABA Routing, Payment Methods, References, Intermediary banks, House Bank, IBAN.
      • Able to handle and follow workflows to review and authorize global, regional and local suppliers in SAP system.
      • Review supports provided per purchasing to determine if a payment be released successfully in the bank platform.
      • Participation in the reconciliation of clearing accounts or bank reconciliation on a monthly basis.
      • Problem resolution dealing with internal and external vendors responding to all issues in a timely manner.
      • Experience in escalation of critical issues that requires management attention (Purchasing/ Logistic/Controlling).
      • Development of policies and procedures - improves quality of results by recommending improvement or changes.
      • Participation in Audit Internal/ External Review/ Coordinate Attendance of back up information requirements from Government of Internal Audit area.
      • Knowledge about CFDI Invoice and payment complement.
      • Participation in project implementations.


      Your Skills & Strengths:

      • Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred.
      • 4 years of experience in A/P department.
      • Prefer experience and knowledge in SAP, and MS Office.
      • Automotive or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
      • Bilingual English-Spanish.
