The Accounts Payable Coordinator will process and review invoice uploads (including patient refunds), process vendors adds & changes as well as Lawson (ERP) trouble shooting.
Primary Duties:
1. Processes uploads from external vendors and internal employees such as Patient Refunds, Office Depot etc
2. Coordinates with Supply Chain for Vendor Adds and makes requested changes to the Lawson Vendor Master.
3. Performs tasks to maintain Lawson data: helping with AP Month Close, clearing RNI, Zero Check Runs, Escheating to the state, etc.
4. Orders supplies for the AP department.
5. Supports other AP positions during staff absences.
6. Acts as a problem solver for questions
7. Assists with training of new employees.
8. Monitors internal controls established by Internal Audit and the AP Manager; reports any deviations.
9. Keeps AP Manager informed on status of issues within the department.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
General Information/Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of two (2) years’ practical experience in an Accounting or Business environment with excellent Excel skills. The position requires independent problem solving skills, strong analytical skills and the ability to provide high quality customer service. Must be able to function with a high degree of confidentiality and accuracy. Individual is required to work independently and as part of a team. Lawson experience preferred.
• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer.
• Requires the ability to schedule, meet, and maintain daily and monthly routines and work well under pressure.
• May be required to lift or carry light equipment or supplies occasionally.
