- Lead and manage day-to-day AP operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, reconciliations, and month-end close support
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the AP Analyst, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and service
- Implement and refine policies and procedures to improve efficiency and internal controls
- Partner with Operations, Treasury, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely vendor onboarding and accurate coding
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies (e.g., W-9/1099 reporting)
- Analyze AP aging and other key metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Assist in system enhancements and process automation initiatives
- Support audits and regulatory reporting as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of AP experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity
- Deep understanding of end-to-end AP cycles and best practices
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Sage Intacct) and Excel
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to lead through change and operate with flexibility
- Candidates located in Baltimore/DC area preferred.

Position Overview: We’re seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our accounts payable operations and lead a growing AP function. This role will own the end-to-end AP process, manage vendor relationships, ensure timely and accurate payments, and provide leadership to our AP Analyst. The ideal candidate brings a strong operational mindset, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about building scalable processes. This is a remote role with occasional travel.
