Accounts Payable Specialist

SUMMARY of Duties

This is a full-time position performing a variety of accounts payable tasks under the direct supervision of the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Roles & Responsibilities: This position has responsibility for Processing accounts payable including invoice coding, reviewing and/or obtaining appropriate approvals. Assist in preparing monthly AP accrual. Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies. Able to perform weekly checks and EFT payment runs. Resolve invoice issues for suppliers and employees with AP questions.

Work Experience Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ of accounts payable experience

Experience working with a fully integrated ERP software; RealPage experience preferred

Experience working in property management is a plus

Ability to absorb training and take direction

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Ability to deal with a high-volume environment

Educational Qualifications

· Associates Degree or at least two years of college education, high school diploma or GED

· Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business administration with a major in accounting
