      We are looking for you,

      Accounts Payable Specialist

      to join our Accounts Payable team in Espoo.

      You will focus on ensuring timely and accurate purchase invoice handling, supporting all the counterparties in the process and maintaining accounts payable ledger.

      In our EMEA focused small Accounts Payable team we work where we are most productive and offer flexible opportunities to work remotely. To promote cooperation and the sense of belonging we have agreed on regular individual and team meetings depending on the work needs.

      In this job you will work closely with Global Financial Services teams, Group Consolidation, Business Finance, business representatives, vendors and auditors. You will report to Accounts Payable Team Lead, based in Espoo.

      The Accounts Payable team is part of the Global Financial Services (GFS) and consists of over 30 finance professionals. The GFS provides financial accounting and process management services to Neste companies globally. Our services cover accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting & project process controlling, general ledger & analyse and payments process services.       Your role in our team

      • Process purchase invoices and vendor line items (GR/IR accounts)
      • Request vendor master data updates when needed
      • Reconcile AP interfaces
      • Ensure that Accounts Payable is up-to-date
      • Perform AP closing tasks according to the global closing schedule
      • Execute internal controls for Accounts Payable process
      • Provide daily support for internal users in purchase invoice handling
      • Answer vendor inquiries
      • Prepare audit material and support auditors
      • Identify and initiate automation and digitalization potential in provided services

      The best combination to succeed in this role

      • Good knowledge in accounts payable
      • SAP knowledge & familiarity with Google tools
      • Understanding of IFRS
      • Understanding source-to-pay processes
      • Proficiency and fluency in English, both written and spoken
