      What You’ll Do:
      • Conduct thorough pre-audits of payment requests, verifying prices, quantities, and contract details

      • Enter and validate vendor invoices and payment data in financial software

      • Ensure compliance with purchasing guidelines, State Statutes, IRS regulations, and administrative codes

      • Serve as a liaison between vendors and departments to resolve payment issues

      • Reconcile vendor statements and distribute payments across County, Port, Court, and Clerk entities

      • Research and process voids and stop payments

      • Participate in testing software upgrades and enhancements

      • Support special projects and other duties as assigned

      • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

      • Minimum 2 years of clerical and customer service experience

      • Preferred: 2 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience using industry-standard accounts payable software

      Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      • Strong keyboarding, data entry, and 10-key skills

      • Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook

      • Preferred experience with Oracle EnterpriseOne

      • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

      • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

      • Professional communication and interpersonal skills

      • High ethical standards and discretion with confidential information

      • Initiative and independent judgment with moderate supervision
