Verifies accuracy of documents submitted for payment processing in BrainWare, OnBase and Workday.
Performs quality assurance check on invoices/credit memos/payment requests to ensure authenticity and completeness of information.
Ensures invoices/credit memos/payment requests are mathematically accurate.
Confirms all related pages of an invoice/credit memo/payment request are scanned together in single document.
Ensures supporting documentation for invoices/credit memos/payment requests agrees to information on the respective document.
Performs timely document processing and accurate data entry. Validate vendor, purchase order, and invoice information in BrainWare, OnBase and Workday
Match invoices to appropriate purchase order/purchase order line in BrainWare, OnBase and Workday. Meet the goals of the team to keep all invoices under 60 days in Payables aging.
Complete invoice/purchase order problem resolution: Confer with end-users, vendors, and Supply Chain Management to reconcile difference between invoice and purchase order and/or invoice and receiving document quantities.
High school diploma or GED required
Associate’s degree in Accounting preferred
Four (4) years of experience in an automated Accounts Payable environment is required
Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
No experience required with an Associate’s degree

St Jude is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to represent and support the mission, philosophy and goals of the Hospital through fiscal operations and by applying appropriate financial policies and procedures. You'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments of all invoices and payment requests on behalf of all departments within the hospital.Job Responsibilities include but not limited to:
