      The Accounts Payable Specialist Is responsible for representing and supporting the mission, philosophy and goals of the Hospital through fiscal operations and by applying appropriate financial policies and procedures. Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payments of all invoices and payment requests on behalf of all departments within the hospital. Resolves issues with internal and external customers in the most efficient and effective manner.

      This is a hybrid work schedule with minimum of 2 days/week onsite

      Job Responsibilities:

      • Execute accounts payable assigned tasks within own area of responsibility, with limited guidance.
      • Coordinate with internal teams/ clients to collect information and create relevant documentation & standard reports.
      • Monitor own delivery for compliance with overall guidelines and escalate to supervisor as needed.
      • Receive and review incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness and adherence to policy.
      • Prepare and process electronic or manual payments to vendors.
      • Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
      • Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
      • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.

      Minimum Education and/or Training:

      • High school diploma/GED required.

      Minimum Experience:

      • Minimum Requirement: 2+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Payable or similar area.
      • Large ERP experience preferred ( e.g Workday, SAP, Oracle)
      • Experience with fast paced and large volume AP including PO problem resolution preferred
      • Intermediate Excel skills preferred
      • Ability to problem solve

      Compensation

      In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $20.50 - $34.50 per hour for the role of Accounts Payable Specialist.
