      Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

      Department: Accounting

      Reports to: Accounts Payable Team Lead

      Travel: None

      Location: Nashville, Tennessee


      Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is part of a team responsible for the complete Accounts Payable process from reviewing and matching purchase orders and receivers , entering invoices and initiating payment runs.

      Duties/Responsibilities:

      • Enter s data and maintain s records, invoices and supporting documents of amounts due for items purchased .

      • Supports the Production Controllers and General Accounting Specialists with analyses and transaction details.

      • Runs daily, weekly and monthly reports such as A P aging.

      • Prepare s and run s weekly disbursement process.

      • Works on ad-hoc projects and analyses as requested .


      Education and Experience:

      • Associate’s degree in Accounting or practical work experience.

      • 3 + years’ experience in an office environment is required .

      • Experience with Infor Visual b eneficial .

      • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail plus well organized.

      • Motivated and self-starter.

      Physical Requirements:

      • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer .

      • Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds at a time.
