      PM Hotel Group Support Center offices has a great opportunity for an Accounts Payable specialist. If you love hotels and you are already doing Accounts Payable or working in accounting, you might be the right fit for this opportunity.

      PM Hotel Group is a top 20, leading hotel management company focused on outstanding financial returns for hotel owners nationwide. We manage nearly 90 hotels and development projects comprised of more than 9,000 rooms throughout the United States, providing development, technical consulting, on-site management, revenue leadership and strategy, and accounting expertise.

      The AP specialist is responsible to verify, obtain approvals, pay and collect all invoices from vendors in a timely, accurate manner in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.

      Summary of Essential Job Functions

      • Verify that purchasing procedures are followed, i.e. purchase order price compared to invoice price, purchase order quantity compared to invoice quantity, ensure that the purchase order number is valid.
      • Ensure invoices received from the properties have correct purchase order attached. Ensure account coding is accurate and all invoices are being returned on a timely basis. Post all invoices within three days of receiving.
      • Coordinate with the properties on weekly check run requests. After approval from Controller or CFO, cut approved checks and match with invoices. Submit for check signature.
      • Mail out signed checks. File paid invoices.
      • Handle all vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor statements.
      • Maintain open invoices file, paid invoices file and voided check file in an organized and up-to-date manner.
      • Maintain master PO log with all contract and recurring invoices.
      • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
      • Ideal candidate should have Hotel experience.
      • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

      Abilities Required

      • Must have the ability to communicate in English. Self-starting personality with an even disposition. Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times and communicate well with guests. Must be willing to "pitch-in" and help co-workers with their job duties and be a team player. Ability to transport cases of received goods to the work stations, and pots and pans of food from storage/prep areas to the serving line. Ability to work with all products and food ingredients necessary. Ability to operate, clean and maintain all equipment required in job functions.
