What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform accounts payable functions, including invoicing, manual check application, and account reconciliation
- Enter routine journal entries and bank transactions
- Conduct month-end closing and reconciliation
- Reconcile, investigate, correct, and adjust accounting information as needed
- Support department peers and assist with various accounting tasks
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1-2 years of accrual basis accounting experience, including accounts receivable and bank reconciliation
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact across all levels of the organization
- Detail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skills
- Regular and reliable attendance is essential for this position
