- Preparing and sending monthly account statements to customers
- Preparing and sending past due reminders to customers
- Responding to sales tax related questions
- Conducting credit investigations for new credit and finance applications
- Completing credit reference requests
- Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Reconciling customer disputes, short, or skipped payments
- Weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Associates’ Degree in Accounting, related field OR equivalent experience
- Prior experience in AR/billing/collections
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to keep a high degree of confidentiality of information
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be tenacious and personable, with excellent customer-service skills
