- Researching credit applications and updating customer accounts
- Preparing and sending monthly account statements and past due reminders to customers
- Responding to sales tax related questions
- Conducting credit investigations for new credit and finance applications
- Completing credit reference requests
- Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
- Reconciling customer disputes and short or skipped payments
- Participating in weekly meetings with management on progress and status of open issues
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- Associate Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
- Prior experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Effective and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Must be tenacious and personable, with excellent customer-service skills

Pay Range: $18-23/hour
Schedule: Full-time hours (40 hours/week) during our hours of operation: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Grand Forks, ND
