      Accounts Receivable

      Alliance Health is a not-for-profit Long-Term Care company with (12) skilled nursing facilities located throughout MA.

      Due to our growth, we are looking for a self-motivated, dependable, experienced Long Term Care Accounts Receivable – (AR) Specialist. This is a regional position and will be working directly for the corporate office. The position will be located at Alliance Health at West Acres in Brockton, MA.

      This person must be able to manage the AR Department. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

      • Handle all aspects of the Business Office
        • Billing, Census and everyday duties in a SNF. Duties will include active billing, active collections, cash postings, census distribution, PNA, family meetings, etc.
      • Separation of duties with deposits and cash posting for the AR and the PNA Account.
      • Full knowledge of the MA Health, Medicare and HMO billing rules for SNF billing and collections.
      • Working with families/residents to collect Private funds.
      • Knowledge of the Medicaid Application process to be able to act as the liaison between the Medicaid Application Consultants and the families/facility.
      • Working with legal counsel on facility matters.
      • Knowing how to follow up and appeal all payer claims.
      • Strong ability to mentor and to teach/train.
      • Multitasking, problem solving, being a team player and building staff confidence.
      • General understanding of the A/P process.
      • Addressing all AR issues along with maintaining cash collection and DSO goals on a monthly basis.
      • Assisting the AR Director with monthly reporting, month-end processes including revenue verification, cash balancing, reports for the State.
      • Financial Audit preparation per Auditing Firms requests.

      Experience and proficiency with:

      • 5 Years SNF experience or LTCH billing experience will be considered.
      • Proficient in Matrix or PCC
      • Strong analytical skills required.
      • Proficient in Word and Excel
      • FISS/DDE
      • HMO Payer Portals
      • Inovalon a plus

      · Brockton, MA 02301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

      Experience:

      · MA Medicaid: 1 year (Preferred)

      · HMO: 1 year (Preferred)

      · Medicare Part A and Part B: 1 year (Preferred)

      · Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred)

      Work Location: One location
