What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Claim denial follow-ups and appeals
- Investigating billing issues and creating solutions
- Researching and resolving unpaid claims
- Updating insurance carriers
- Processing rejected claims and account adjusting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years accounts receivable experience in a healthcare organization
- Knowledge of insurance carrier reimbursement procedures and practices, accounts receivables practices, and medical business office procedures
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
- Ability to effectively use all relevant computer software, including Practice Management System, EMR, and MS Office products
- Excellent math, written, and verbal communication skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Clinical experience
- Previous experience working in insurance claim denials and appeals
