      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform ICD and CPT coding, data entry, and claims processing for various medical services
      - Conduct claim scrubs to ensure clean claim submissions and work on appeals/denials efficiently
      - Communicate effectively with billing companies, hospitals, and insurance payers
      - Review patient records to determine accurate coding and billable services
      - Participate in coding audits and continue personal education on coding standards

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED required
      - Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
      - 3-4 years of coding and/or medical office and billing experience
      - Proficiency in EMR software and multiple Microsoft Office applications
      - Advanced knowledge in E&M and procedural coding preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Specialty clinical experience in Gastroenterology
      - Strong customer service and patient care skills
      - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively
      - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
      - Experience interpreting and applying clinical and non-clinical policies
