Accounts Receivable Specialist, Poznań

Role overview

We are currently looking for a skilled specialist to support our financial operations within the accounts receivable area with their motivation, energy, experience and skillset. Our team manages customer receivables by taking care of customer accounts. We support the allocation of incoming payments and handle unapplied cash. We stay in touch with our customers, clarifying any disputes and answering customer questions. The team prepares financial analyzes of the customer line items on an ongoing basis and is involved in the closing activities of the AR in the end of the month.

Our vision is to create a well-coordinated team of professionals with analytical skills who will work to transform and automate processes to support markets and functions in making change.

What you’ll be doing

• Building and maintaining good relations with clients and customers
• Preparing turnovers for customers
• Posting and clearing of compensations
• Clearing of incoming payments
• Reposting Bad Debts
• Handling MEC activities
• Ongoing customer accounts analysis
• Working on balance confirmation and reconciliation

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a person who:

• Has a documented educational background in finance area (Bachelor grade) or equivalent experience
• Is able to communicate effectively in English and Polish (both speaking and writing)
• Is action-driven and do not fear challenges
• Is inquisitive and diligent
• Has analytical mindset and can translate business landscape into charts and numbers
• Is willing to develop in the area of corporate finance
• Is a problem solver and fast learner
• Ae meticulous and dedicated
• Enjoy international environment
• Is open-minded, enthusiastic and responsible
• Navigates easily in Office365 environment and has an advanced hands-on knowledge of MS Excel
• Has previously worked with SAP
