What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Contact insurance carriers daily to follow up on outstanding medical claims and collect past due amounts
- Maintain accurate aging of assigned accounts and conduct AR analysis
- Stay informed on billing and medical policies for all payers
- Create appeals to protest denials or incorrect payments
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve claims payment issues

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of Accounts Receivable management experience with direct payer follow-up
- 1 year of effective communication experience with insurance payers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, HIPAA requirements, Excel, and medical practice management software
- Experience working with commercial, government, and state insurance payers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of ICD10, CPT, HCPCs coding
- Experience working with complex insurance issues
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
