      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims, working with payers to determine reasons for denials
      - Initiate and follow-up on appeals and correct/reprocess claims for payment in a timely manner
      - Identify root causes and denial trends, making recommendations to prevent future denials
      - Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and contribute ideas for process improvements
      - Meet established productivity and quality metrics for the Accounts Receivable Department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
      - Knowledge of healthcare billing, including CPT/ICD-10 coding and various insurance types
      - Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
      - Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
