What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims by assigned payer/s
- Research and correct claim denials by assigned payer/s
- Identify root causes and denial trends to prevent additional denials
- Participate in team meetings to enhance front-end claim edits
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics for the AR Department
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate/GED required
- 1-3 years of experience working in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, government, managed care, and commercial insurances
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
