What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Accurately follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims, correcting and reprocessing them as needed
- Research claim denials to determine reasons and initiate the appeals process when necessary
- Identify root causes and denial trends, providing recommendations to prevent future denials
- Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and contribute to workflow improvements
- Meet established productivity and quality metrics, collaborating with supervisors to enhance performance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Graduate or GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and insurance requirements
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
