      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Accurate and timely follow-up on unpaid and underpaid claims to meet collection targets and minimize write-offs
      - Research claim denials to determine reasons for denials, correcting and reprocessing claims for payment
      - Identify root causes and denial trends, making recommendations to prevent future denials
      - Participate in team meetings to share denial trends and contribute ideas for process improvement
      - Meet established productivity and quality metrics for the Accounts Receivable Department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in healthcare revenue cycle
      - Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, claim submission requirements, and denial reason codes
      - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
      - Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills
