      POSITION PURPOSE:

      Assists the Inventory Control Supervisor in maintaining inventory integrity throughout the Distribution Center.

      KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

      • Auditing - assembles and disassembles palletized merchandise while auditing product before shipment by matching merchandise selected to invoice.
      • Assists in daily scheduled cycle inventories.
      • Runs Slots-2-Count report daily
      • Performs daily code date & slot checks.
      • Daily check all Mark-outs to verify correct inventory on-hand.
      • Performs other related duties as assigned by I.C. Supervisor, including filing, recalls and assisting the inventory department as needed.

      KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

      Education Level:

      • High School Diploma or GED.

      Skills and Experiences:

      • Possesses working knowledge of warehouse selection and loading operations.
      • Possesses good general clerical skills to include good math ability, keyboarding/data entry skills and attention to detail.
      • Possesses good communication skills, both oral and written.
      • General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) applications is helpful.
      • Must be available to work flexible or unusual hours as needed, including weekends.

      PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

      • Work typically performed in ambient or refrigerated environments.
      • Sits, stands, or walks for extended periods of time.
      • Bending, stooping, and twisting required periodically.
      • Uses calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment during a normal workday.
      • Workday is fast paced; evening and weekend work may be required.

      POSITION PURPOSE:

      Assists the Inventory Control Supervisor in maintaining inventory integrity throughout the Distribution Center.

      • Performs daily code date & slot checks.
      • Assists in the Meat-Deli, Grocery, and Produce distress.
      • Works with procurement department on item set-up issues by verifying the correct description, UPC, pack, size etc.
      • Performs inventory transfers as needed.
      • Daily check all Mark-outs to verify correct inventory on-hand.
      • Performs other related duties as assigned by I.C. Supervisor, including filing, recalls and assisting the inventory department as needed.

      KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
