Job Summary: • Serves as the project manager for the Achievement Tutoring Program (ATP) activities related to the contracts awarded by Arizona Department of Education (ADE).
• Responsibilities include participating in development of Request for Proposals (RFPs); serve as a link between contractors and the ATP, ensure two- way information flows between states and vendor, coordinate state partners on their involvement in development activities and/ or meetings, coordinate Local Education Agencies (LEAs); interaction with ATP contractors; and document significant events that occur in the day to day and ongoing work of ATP or scope of work changes with our contractors.
• There are numerous business requirements documents and technical requirements documents associated with the testing contract. This position will support coordination and clarification all vendor business requirements and vendor technical requirements.
• They will also communicate or meet regularly with the ADE Contracts Manager to ensure calendaring of all deliverables.
• This position confirms that all work invoices by the vendor was completed per contract and to Academic Standards' satisfaction. Assist in creating documents to help support the ATP.
• Occasional in-state and rare out-of-state travel is/may be required for this position.
The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate.Job Duties: • Be the contact person responsible for overseeing the implementation of the ATP; interact with the test contractors and all LEA Test Coordinators to ensure a successful implementation of the contract.
• Will track LEA participation including collecting and organizing Test Coordinator forms.
• Will coordinate meetings as needed including weekly calls, committee meetings, and will participate in weekly combined contractor calls.
• Will work with Academic Standards and Assessment team to ensure weekly tasks are completed.
• Create documents to support the needs of ATP as needed. Ensure the two-way information flow between Academic Standards and vendor. This might include researchers and pertinent experts.
• Project Management (PM): Apply PM principles and tracking to ensure full control of schedules, timetables and budgets, to include website updates.
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position.

Selective Preference(s): Preference will be given to those applicants with a Program Management Certification (PMP).
