- Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
- Implementing activities that accommodate those patients with special needs.
- Observing participants at events gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve events.
- Providing participants with instructions for the event.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Long-term care or nursing facility experience preferred
- Experience with recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred.
- Interest in the geriartic population
