Job Description

- Knowledge:
- Local GAAP knowledge for EMEA region, experience in financial reporting, familiarity with disclosure requirements and accounting standards.
- Knowledge on IFRS related subject matters.
- Knowledge of CaseWare tool and content.
- Preparation:
- Prepare draft statutory financial statements for EY clients
- Prepare roll-forward standard information request and compliance calendar
- Validate data for global statutory reporting and tax compliance engagements
- Review of workings from client:
- Perform review of workings and information provided by client and share feedback with ACR Senior.
- Coordination and managing tasks:
- Maintain, and strengthen relationships both internally within the EY network and externally with clients.
- Support ACR Seniors and EY Local teams on the reporting processes.
- Execute multiple project work streams and stakeholder communication.
- Maintain effective team dynamics.
- Provide timely and comprehensive answers to clients’ queries.
- Adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth finalization of statutory reporting.
- Support ACR Seniors for reporting dashboards (trackers) to demonstrate progress of activities for each engagement.
- Hands on experience in any of the financial reporting tools like Thomson Reuters, CaseWare.
- Technical competence in financial reporting and the industry / specialized field
- Very good knowledge of Excel, Microsoft office and other financial tools
- Experience in dealing EMEA clients and their statutory reporting processes will be preferred
- Presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, aspirational, and result oriented.
- Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) with at least 1-2 years of post-qualification work experience with IFRS experience
- knowledge of IFRS is essential
- US GAAP/ other GAAPs knowledge/experience will be added advantage
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
- Working in teams of experienced finance colleagues.

Staff ACR will play a critical role in execution of financial reporting process across various jurisdictions. The opportunity to work with ACR Seniors and MENA Engagement team for consistency in management reporting and preparation of financial statements. Provide support to engagement teams on all compliance and reporting activities.
