- Determine priority of matters of attention for the OD; redirect matters to staff or handle individually, as appropriate.
- Coordinate work with other BTO and DARPA staff; the EA plays a key role in the coordination of staff efforts both within and outside the office and Agency.
- Assist in BTO Front Office activities and processes including planning, prioritization, and execution.
- DoD TS Security Clearance.
- A minimum of 3+ years of related experience, preferably within a government agency.
- Able to ensure Office Director is prepared for meetings that he needs to attend and doesn't attend meetings that are non-value added.
- Energetic, good judgment, and proactive.
- Ability to work both independently and with team members to analyze and resolve issues expeditiously.
- Ability to multi-task and establish priorities to ensure deadlines are met.

ECS is seeking an Action/Staff Officer (DARPA) to work 100% at the customer's site in Arlington, VA office.
The BTO Front Office is recruiting an Action/Staff Officer to support the BTO Office Director on a daily basis. This position in direct support of the Office Director is critical to the BTO and DARPA’s mission. Will work closely with the BTO Front Office team on a daily basis to ensure timely, proactive and comprehensive administrative support to BTO leadership.
Expect to handle sensitive information while exercising professionalism and discretion.
The dynamic nature of this role requires that the successful candidate is a self-starter, taking the initiative whenever possible and thinking ahead of what the mission needs are, while displaying elite multi-project tracking and execution ability, along with exemplary time management skills. The candidate will represent the entire BTO and BTO leadership specifically, and therefore must exemplify professional demeanor across towards internal (BTO Leadership Team, DIRO Front Office, etc.) and external stakeholders.
