      Job summary

      The role of Activities Coordinator at Galsworthy House in Kingston Upon Thames involves planning and facilitating engaging activities for the residents of this 72-bed residential, nursing, and specialist dementia care home. The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills to ensure residents are able to make the most of every day.

      Main duties of the job

      As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a diverse program of activities, events, and outings that cater to the interests and needs of the residents. This includes planning and leading group activities, one-on-one sessions, and trips outside the home. You will work closely with the care team to understand the residents' preferences and abilities, and tailor the activities accordingly. The role also involves preparing materials, maintaining records, and collaborating with other departments to deliver a holistic and engaging experience for the residents.
