      Responsibilities

      • Lead daily activity classes in assigned areas at facility to include guiding staff on assisting clients with activities, instructing staff on responsibilities within activity and ensuring activities occur as developed
      • Assist QTC Activity Coordinator in planning meaningful day activities for assigned facility including completion of activity plans and resource acquisition
      • Ensure documentation of individual’s participation within activities to capture progress towards goals outlined in SP
      • Maintain a presentable, clean, and safe classroom environment always
      • Assist QTC Activity Coordinator with completion of progress notes
      • Engage clients and staff in development process by collecting feedback towards quality of activities
      • Ensure established curriculums are followed within classroom settings
      • Facilitate community inclusion trips as assigned by QTC Activity Coordinator
      • Ensure monthly calendar of activities is followed as scheduled
      • Organize and maintain supplies utilized for activities. Keep an inventory of needed items and ensure that they are present prior to any scheduled activity. Ensure that any items purchased are within the monthly activities budget
      • Monitor and assist with consumers as needed, following all applicable procedures as outlined ensuring safety protocols are followed
      • Complete incident report paperwork, investigations, and follow-up as needed.
      • Follow all Quest policies and procedures
      • Meet all training/meeting obligations
      • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

      Qualifications

      • High school diploma and must be 18 years or older required
      • 2 years’ experience working in a facility providing daily activity-based programming for adults with developmental disabilities required
      • Florida Driver’s License with no more than two moving violations in the past three years
      • Able to work in the US and not require Visa Sponsorship from our company now or in the future
      • Basic computer skills
      • Communicate effectively; verbally and written
      • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, possess time management skills, and delegate responsibilities
      • Display enthusiasm and energy in teaching assigned activity area
      • Perform physical responsibilities in relation to client care (i.e., check and change, Safety Care, etc.)
      • Showcase creativity and knowledge in assigned specialized activity area
      • Facilitate effective and respectful conflict resolution
