- The Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) Community Specialist will conduct work that enhances the global presence of ACX, our creator marketplace that connects rightsholders with performers and producers to create their audiobooks.
- The ACX Community Relations team works with internal stakeholders as well as the "indie” creator community - to enhance existing and create new policies and programs that serve the ACX community.
- You are a fast learner who will master the intricacies of ACX's operations while simultaneously serving as a business partner to members of the creative community.
- You are passionate about working with creators and have a solid understanding of their needs.
- You thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven, enthusiastic, and not afraid to take risks.
- Coordinate and provide support for tasks, projects, and meetings for the ACX Creator & Community relations team.
- Maintain policy documentation and support various programs that support the ACX community
- Learn new tools to manage email campaigns that engage our ACX community
- Analyze and leverage data to drive and inform critical business decisions
- Travel occasionally to represent ACX at in-person conferences
- Act as a trusted voice of the ACX community to our leaders in Product, Anti-Fraud, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Customer Care, and other internal teams.
- College degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Media Studies, or similar
- 1+ years of experience in working with creators, publishers, or literary agencies, preferably within audio, television, film, music, or other comparable area
- High attention to detail and proven ability to manage projects and competing priorities
- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a high-energy, rapidly evolving organization
- Up to date with emerging trends on social, passionate about building online communities
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Strong acumen with Excel and PowerPoint
- Broad awareness of popular culture across media types
- A positive attitude and sense of empathy
- Passionate about books, audiobooks, and indie publishing
- Strong familiarity with ACX, our creators, and our community
- Bi-lingual is a plus

Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Pay range: $29.42 - 51.49/hr
Location: Newark, NJ
Work Type: 100% Onsite
