      Job Title: Adhesive Technician

      Shift Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM (Monday through Friday)

      • Flexibility required for occasional off-hours work based on equipment availability
      • 35 minute lunch break.

      Job Description

      Join our team as an Adhesive Technician! You'll work with Sr. staff to create lab-scale adhesive mixtures (both solvent- and water-based). Your role includes preparing test samples, conducting performance tests, and presenting data in both numerical and graphic formats. You'll also evaluate test results using statistics and data analytics, develop new procedures, and occasionally supervise other technicians.

      Responsibilities

      • Prepare lab-scale adhesive mixtures (solvent- and water-based).
      • Create test samples and combinations.
      • Conduct various performance tests.
      • Present data in numerical and graphic formats.
      • Analyze and report validation test results using statistics and data analytics.
      • Develop and implement new procedures and specifications.
      • Participate in team activities.
      • Occasionally supervise other technicians.

      Skills & Qualifications

      • Required:
        • 1+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
        • Proficiency in most common PC-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
        • Demonstrable expertise in Excel.
        • Strong troubleshooting skills.
        • Proficient in documentation and batch records management.
      • Preferred:
        • College degree in a science-related field, such as Chemistry, Materials Science, or Engineering preferred.
        • Experience in roll-to-roll manufacturing preferred.
        • 2 or more years of direct relevant experience in formulating/characterizing adhesives and coatings, both solvent- and water-borne.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Northfield, Minnesota.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
