Job Description
- Req#: 1261
- Assist students on/with course work in Nuclear Medicine Technology, including procedures, nuclear cardiology, radiation physics and instrumentation, PET, radiopharmacy, and radiation sciences and regulations.
- Offer tutoring session availability in an online/virtual format
- Provide work for students to do after the tutoring session to check for understanding
- Collaborate with the applicable course instructor to determine plan of action for specific student
- Provide feedback to student specific to progression in subject matter
- Provide feedback to the program director as to student progress
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Minimum of two years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology as a technologist or a researcher
- Commitment to undergraduate, graduate and/or professional education and student success
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, alumni, and external constituents, including healthcare industry professionals)
- Master’s Degree in a health-related profession (Health Sciences, MHA, MBA, or the like)
