- Teach courses according to assigned schedule
- Follow the official approved curriculum and syllabus
- Facilitate engaging online learning experiences aligned with course objectives and program outcomes
- Prepare the course in Canvas, aligning with institutional policies and designated teaching modality.
- Lead four synchronous class sessions via Microsoft Teams (1 hour each)
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on assignments and discussions
- Record all grades using the Canvas gradebook
- Use TurnitIn for papers requiring citations and review similarity reports
- Collaborate with program leadership to ensure course quality and alignment with course objectives/program learning outcomes
- Follow all additional academic policies as designated by the VPAA
- A doctoral degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years classroom experience
- Minimum of 3 years of college level teaching experience
- Knowledge of Canvas preferred
- Demonstrated success in undergraduate/graduate teaching.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and mentor adult learners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and staff across a wide range of academic, cultural, and social identities.
- Previous experience teaching online in higher education.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and the Canvas Learning Management Systems.
