      Adjunct Job Announcement

      Position: Math Adjunct Instructor

      Location: Athens Campus

      Department: Division of General Education, Online Learning, & Dual Enrollment

      Reports to: Divisional Academic Dean

      Salary/Benefits: Salary is commensurate with education and experience. No State of Georgia benefits.

      Deadline to Apply: May 20, 2025 at 4:00 p.m.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • Master’s degree with eighteen (18) semester hours in mathematics; graduate hours in education, teaching, or statistics are not sufficient.
      • Strong communication skills and work ethic.
      • Willingness to teach at all Athens Technical College locations.
      • Willingness to teach Athens Technical College courses on area high school campuses.
      • Willingness to teach using all college approved methods (Ex. face to face, online, audio/video, etc.).

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Previous teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
      • Experience with online teaching platforms; Blackboard preferred.
