- Promote the mission and goals of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, the College of Health Professions, and the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program
- Supervision of student clinical experiences in Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC)
- Teaching in areas associated with the individual’s expertise
- Participate in a team teaching environment, collaborating with other faculty members to develop and deliver course instruction, educational patient activities (ICC), and student assessment activities.
- Contribute to a welcoming and inclusive learning environment that respects and values the diversity of students and ICC patients
- Participate in creation, implementation, and evaluation of DPT program curriculum
- Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, and students
- Must achieve satisfactory results from a background check
- Compliance with the current COVID19 vaccination policy
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree
- License eligible in Illinois
- Must achieve background check clearance
- Demonstration of excellence in communication, teamwork, organization and critical thinking are essential components for success in this position
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent time management skills, strong work ethic and high level of integrity
- Ability to work in an interprofessional, collaborative setting
- Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion concepts and their application in the classroom and clinical settings.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current trends and advancements in the field of physical therapy relative to area of expertise.
- Experience adapting instructional materials and teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, abilities, and backgrounds.
- Prior experience in physical therapist education or other higher education with knowledge of effective classroom teaching strategies
- American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties board certification or other advanced certification in areas associated with the individual’s expertise.

Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Department in the College of Health Professions invites applications for a part-time adjunct instructor to mentor students at the Interprofessional Community Clinic (ICC).
This position involves working collaboratively with students and faculty to provide pro bono physical therapy services in an interprofessional clinical setting. The adjunct instructor will play a key role in mentoring students, guiding them in the application of classroom knowledge to real-world clinical practice, and fostering their development as future healthcare professionals.Who We Are
