Job Description

- Provide an appropriate learning environment and materials to ensure participants can master the stated learning outcomes and meet the client’s needs
- Submit attendance reports after each class meeting to the School of Extended Education
- Submit final grades after each class completion to the School of Extended Education
- Occasional travel may be required depending on client needs
10+ years’ work experience in Information Technology
3-5 years’ experience live online and/or in-person instruction of Information Technology and Telecommunications courses for corporate clients
Expertise in the following Information Technology and/or Telecommunications topics: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, Wireless Communications
Bachelor’s Degree plus Certificate Program/Certification in Cyber Security, Python Coding, Artificial Intelligence, or related field
3-5 years’ experience with Adobe Connect, Salesforce, Moodle, or similar platforms
Available during the hours of:
3:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Pacific
4:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Mountain
5:00 p.m.-12:30 a.m. Central
6:00 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Eastern
Experience with curriculum design and development
$50.00 per hour for instructional time
Non-instructional time may be compensated at a different rate, as outlined in the Extended Education Adjunct Compensation Policy

School of Extended Education
Adjunct – Remote - Information Technology and Telecommunications
Position Overview:
The School of Extended Education is seeking qualified Information Technology and Telecommunications Instructors to facilitate professional development programs in a live, online format or in-person. Programs vary in length but are generally 24-40 hours, offered several evenings/nights per week. Instructors may be scheduled to train multiple times per month.
