      Overview

      East Penn currently has an opening for a General Office Support/Floater who will provide assistance wherever needed within the Accounts Receivable / Accounting departments in order to maintain a constant work flow.

      Responsibilities

      Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

      Perform the tasks of the Computer Room operator; obtain and distribute printed reports and maintain the high confidentiality of those reports.

      Perform the daily duties of the Audit Clerk; proofreading invoices and putting postage on outgoing mail.

      Perform the daily duties of the Feeder Support Clerk; prepare and disburse documents to be entered into Mainframe; file DEBIs (deferred billing); go through Feeder Mail.

      Assist the Feeder Departments; enter corrections, various misc. issues, go through Feeder mail.

      Assist the Accounts Receivable Department in correcting invoices and researching miscellaneous invoices (deductions).

      Perform the daily duties of the Cash Receipts Department; cash application.

      Perform the daily duties of the Imaging Clerk; scan delivery receipts.

      Assist the Billing Department with data entry.

      Understand the processes within General Accounting at a level sufficient to be able to assist each area when needed.

      Performs other duties as requested.

      *Maintains regular attendance.*Ability to work mandatory over time.Responsible for producing a high quality product.Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.

      Qualifications

      • High school degree or equivalent
      • Efficient typing skills
      • Proficient math skills
      • Proficient proofreading skills
      • Working knowledge of office equipment
      • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
      • Intermediate knowledge of excel, outlook
      • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers (either in person, over the phone, or email)
      • Independent worker
      • Fast learner
      • Flexible to support various micro-departmental needs
