      The post holder will assist the care group rota administrators in the provision of an efficient, effective admin and rota support service within orthopaedics and surgery for medical staff, nursing staff and senior manager's within the Care Group.

      Work in conjunction with the Clinical Director, General Manager, Consultants and Service Delivery Manager to ensure medical staffing resources are allocated effectively and efficiently in order to meet elective and emergency service demands.

      The post holder will provide effective admin support for meetings, through the collation and preparation of meeting related documents acting as minute/note taker for meetings.

      Main duties of the job

      Qualifications and Experience

      Essential

      • GCSE English Grade C or above (or equivalent)
      • GCSE Maths Grade C or above (or equivalent)
      • Experience in an administrative/secretarial role
      • Experience in rota planning
      • Experience dealing with conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines
      • Experience, knowledge and proficient use of Windows-based computer systems

      Desirable

      • Typing or word processing qualification RSA II or equivalent
      • IT qualification
      • Experience of clerical work in a healthcare environment
      • Note taking and agenda preparation experience
      • Experience with use of CLW/Rota by Rotamap for medical staff allocations
      • Experience with use of TrakCare patient administration system
