Job summary
We are recruiting:
1 x 37.5 Hours (Apprenticeship opportunity)
1 x 15 Hours
To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service to an identified pathway within the Care Group. To include the organisation of clerical workload, management of medical records and related documents, bed management information, receptionist and call handling duties
This will include dealing with queries from patients, service users, relatives and carers, inputting and updating data relating to the service and working with clinicians and partners for the service delivery.
If you don't already have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH are offering this post alongside the opportunity for you to complete a Level 2apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role].
As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Main duties of the job
oProvide a confidential, quality administrative service to an identified pathway within the Care Group.
Display and maintain high levels of customer service at all times, ensuring all service users have a positive experience at their point of contact.
o Answer telephone calls as per agreed protocols.
o To communicate effectively, accurately, and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, visitors, other Trust staff and external agencies.
o Create and maintain, up to date computerised patient records and recall systems on SystmOne.
o Update new referrals on to SystmOne. Maintain current referrals and end were advised to do so.
o Provide an efficient and timely photocopying and scanning service to the team.
o Maintain, scan and file paper records and information as appropriate, in line with records management principles.
o Assist in the production of high-quality documentation, using Microsoft Word and SystmOne, including confidential letters, non-accidental injury reports, case conference reports, housing reports etc.
o Liaise between clients, professional staff and other multi-agency partners as required.
o Deal with telephone enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, recording messages as per agreed systems and escalating as per protocols.
